What Freedom Means To Us, Happy 4th of July!

HAPPY 4th of JULY! 🇺🇸Caleb here, we wanted to wish everyone a great fourth. Today we get to celebrate the birth of our nation, the moment when our forefathers said, tyranny is not right, and people must stand up and bring freedom to those in the United States of America. This has not been a perfect process over the years. Racism, sexism, human rights, and others violated, but through it all, our country has remained a beacon of hope to the world. A place where the every day citizen has the opportunity to live, work, and have a roof over their head. The journey is not the same for all, but the message is. That from every mountain top of our great nation may freedom ring. I love this quote by Peter Marshall, “May we think of freedom not as the right to do as we please, but as the opportunity to do what is right.” Never has this quote ever needed to be more true. In the face of many old and new wounds that have been opened because of inequalities around the world and our nation. Like never before, people need to look into the mirror and decide what it is that they want to leave as a legacy, one that is about themselves and making their lives better, to experience every freedom and do what ever they want, OR maybe, just maybe, use this freedom as an opportunity to help others. We are extremely proud to have grown up in an amazing nation, and we still believe in the greatness that our nation can have. Our hope and prayer is that for the next many years, our country continues to move forward and bring the freedom that is so liberating for all of its citizens, and those of the world. #likeittoknowit _____ What are you up to for the fourth? 🎇Hope that you stay cool and have some nice bbq today!
