Everyday this week Caleb and I have gotten up to see the sunrise at a beautiful location. I couldn’t sleep in past 4:30 or 5 am knowing today is the day he starts back to his day job. We took some pictures for our content and then went for a hike in Malibu two of the days and Griffith Park the other day. We wanted to fill every minute of this week with memories. Breakfast at the cutest locations, walking hand in hand on the beach, swimming in the ocean and playing catch with a football and then coming back in the afternoon to work on our company together, and cuddling together on the couch at night. Although last night I was so sad for the end of the best summer of our lives, this morning, the sunrise is filled with promise of newness and fresh starts. As I watched it rise as I waved goodbye to Caleb driving away, instead of being too sad the sunrise put excitement in my heart and gave me the reminder that every morning is a chance to grow and God’s mercy and grace are new everyday. We cherished every moment we got together this summer, we fell more in love, had so many adventures, had sweet time with family, grew our company together and made so many beautiful memories. Although today is a day for change, I’m remembering this: From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised. -Psalm 113:3 Throughout all seasons there are things to focus on that are good, pure and that we can be grateful for. And everyday can be a fresh start filled with promise. Does the sunrise get you excited? What are you grateful for today? Love hearing from you!
