Happy Monday Friends! We hope that you all had a great long weekend! We are a little sad today because after a week of spending time together all the time, I had to go back to work this week (I know, teacher struggles right?). Now while it is hard to be back on the grind, it was such a special week of fun and adventure that we had together. One of Stefanie & my greatest passions are relationships. Whether that’s a romantic relationship, family or friendship. Relationships are the backbone of life and we are incredibly passionate about helping others (and ourselves) develop deeper, and healthier relationships. We are in the process of developing online curriculum that will be rolled out in the new year. But for now, we will provide little pieces of insight that we have that hopefully could bless you in the relationships that you have. Last week we got to escape to Big Bear (check out the blog) for some quality time together. Quality and intentional time together is so important. Without it, relationships (including ours) can become neglected or pushed aside by other things. Friends, it is vitally important for our relationships to get that quality time together. This can be in the form of many different types of things, from a weekend away, to a set apart time for a phone call, quality time can make a big difference in cultivating positive relationships. A “let’s get on the same page” type of an interaction that helps get things back on track and in a good place. Stefanie and I had been so busy and tired from all of the goodness that is our business and we really needed a little getaway. Our little trip away ended up being just what we needed. A time to check in, to really be present, and to spend that quality time together. And only when we broke up that intentional time with stress related stuff did we not experience the peace that we needed. We are so thankful to get that quality time together and we encourage you to be intentional about getting that quality time with those people who you want to develop good relationships with. What ways do you spend quality time with those you love? We love to hearing from you!
