NFL Power Rankings - Week 10
New England Patriots (7-1) – The Patriots are still the clear number one team right now with the way that Brady is playing and with the team geling together. After a bye, they look to continue their great run of form.
Dallas Cowboys (7-1) – An easy win this week against the Browns as the Cowboys continue to cruise. A tough game in Pittsburgh this coming week against a slumping Steelers team.
Oakland Raiders (7-2) – Who would have thought? The Raiders are 7-2 and playing some good football. They got a much needed win over the Broncos this week and are now in the driver’s seat in the AFC West.
Kansas City Chiefs (6-2) – The Chiefs grabbed another victory this week against the Jaguars and are now officially cruising since the bye week. This Chiefs team is playing some good football.
Atlanta Falcons (6-3) – The Falcons are showing that this season is different from last year’s complete flop after the first five games. This Falcon’s offense is really good. With Matt Ryan putting up video game numbers, this team doesn’t look to slow down any time soon.
Denver Broncos (6-3) – The Broncos took another hit on Sunday night as they lost to the Raiders in a key divisional matchup. This Broncos team still have the talent on defense to beat anyone so don’t count them out yet.
Seattle Seahawks (5-2-1) – The Seahawks are rolling and looking good while doing it. This offense is not the same without beast mode, but they are one of the more complete teams in the NFL.
New York Giants (5-3) – The Giants got a huge win over the Eagles on Sunday in an NFC East matchup with teams trying to catch up to the division leaders the Cowboys. This Giants team is talented, and when they are clicking they can beat anyone.
Philadelphia Eagles (4-4) – Eagles took their second straight loss this week against a red hot Giants team. The Eagles better right the ship quickly in a division where all four teams do not have a losing record. Teams are starting to figure out that Wentz can’t pass more than 5 yards down field, and their secondary can’t defend beyond 5 either.
Minnesota Vikings (5-3) – Here is the Vikings last chance, they have dropped three straight since their bye. They lost this game in overtime, something has to change. This is a much different team than the 5-0 Vikings we saw at the beginning of the season. Can we say 2015 Falcons anyone?
Arizona Cardinals (3-4-1) – The Cardinals are coming off of a bye this week to face off against poor 49ers. Should get them back to .500 and heading in the right direction.
Houston Texans (5-3) – The Texans are coming off of a bye week this week to face the Jaguars in Jacksonville. Great week to prove that they can win away from home. This Texans team can run away with their division.
Green Bay Packers (4-4) – The Packers lost a tough game at home to the Colts this week. Maybe we should slow way down on the Packers hype train. They are a .500 team and deserve to be so. Their offense and defense are mediocre. Not the same old Packers.
Cincinnati Bengals (3-4-1) – The Bengals are another team coming off of the by as they go to New York to face the Giants. Should be a great matchup as both teams need wins to stay relevant in their divisions.
Detroit Lions (5-4) – Lions got a miraculous win over the Vikings in week 9 in overtime, a very up and down season for this Lions team. Should be interesting to see how this division ends up as the Vikings continue to slide.
Pittsburgh Steelers (4-4) – The Steelers were a complete dud this week in Baltimore as they were completely overpowered by the Ravens. Don’t count this Steelers team out as they still have the talent to beat ANYONE in the league.
Washington Redskins (4-3-1) – The Redskins are coming off of a bye week to face the Vikings at home. Redskins have looked great lately behind the arm of Kirk Cousins. With the toughest division in football this season, the Redskins have to get things going quickly to have a shot at the playoffs.
Buffalo Bills (4-5) – The Bills lost a c lose battle in Seattle on Monday night to the Seahawks. The Bills are falling further and further out of contention in their division and will need a complete and total collapse of the Patriots to have a chance at the postseason.
New Orleans Saints (4-4) – The Saints look great after starting the season 0-3, they are now 4-4 and pushing their division rivals the Falcons. Drew Brees continues to look timeless as he shreds opposing defenses. Up next this week they have the visiting Broncos.
San Diego Chargers (4-5) – The Chargers are trying with all their might to stay relevant in the AFC West, but with the Chiefs, Raiders, and Broncos all with 6 wins or more, the Chargers look to fade away in the coming weeks.
Baltimore Ravens (4-4) – The Ravens finally got another win after a four game losing streak. A win is great, but a win over a division rival for the division lead is always the sweetest. Ravens are happy to come away with that “gift” from the Steelers.
Tennessee Titans (4-5) – The Titans lost a close one to the Chargers in San Diego, but still look strong as they continue their 2016 campaign. Don’t count them out with that number 3 rushing offense. They are still relevant in their division behind the Texans.
Carolina Panthers (3-5) – The Panthers got their second straight win this week as they defeated the Rams in Los Angeles. The Panthers did not look great, but they did enough to win. Still seems hard to believe that they can come back in their division with the Saints and Falcons playing so well.
Miami Dolphins (4-4) – Dolphins won their third straight and are playing some good football. Their division is out of reach at this point, but if they continue to surge, a wild card birth could be achievable.
Indianapolis Colts (4-5) – The Colts got an impressive win in Green Bay this week. This Colts team can beat anyone when things are going right on both sides of the ball. Luck has the ability to keep them in the game no matter who they play. Lucky for them they are only two games back in the division.
Los Angeles Rams (3-5) – The LA Rams looked horrible again this week as Keenum continues to struggle and the fans were officially calling for Goff to enter the game. Why wouldn’t they? With such a strong (not anticipated) qb class this year, they have to believe if their guy was picked first, he should be the best right?
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5) – The Buccaneers are the biggest disappointment this season for me. They cannot get anything going and continue to lose in disappointing fashion. Three games back is not too much to overcome though.
New York Jets (3-6) – The Jets season is unwinding, they are officially out of the divisional race (unless everyone loses out) and clearly Fitzpatrick is not in the plans for the future. Expect Geno Smith or someone else to start next year and beyond. Calling it now: Fitzpatrick’s career as a starter is over.
Chicago Bears (2-6) – The Bears have been horrible this season, but found a way to win a week ago against Minnesota. I don’t expect much out of this Bears team, but they have some young talent to be excited about. Keeping Alshon Jeffrey will be top priority.
Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6) – The Jaguars are playing like the Jaguars of old, not the young and talented Jaguars that they are. This team is the second biggest disappointment so far this season.
San Francisco 49ers (1-7) – The 49ers have been aweful. They continue to struggle with that college style offense in the PROFESSIONAL league. Kelly might have an out with a college team, and he should take it while he still has good offers.
Cleveland Browns (0-9) – The Browns got trounced by the Cowboys this past weekend. This team has a good chance of finishing 0-16. Feel sorry for these Browns, Hue Jackson is a good coach. They will not be 0-16 next year.
