I get all emotional looking at this picture because even though Caleb and I just got back from Pittsburgh, we miss it a lot already. It’s been almost 7 years living away from my family and so many of my friends. The longer I’m away the more I’ve come to appreciate where I grew up and the people in my life that live 2,500 miles away.
Every time Caleb and I travel to Pittsburgh I remember new stories from earlier years and we laugh and cry together as I reminisce the past. I cherish my family and dear friends from this area and Caleb realizes the real and beautiful people in my life. He tells me the amazing quality of my friends and family and he’s grateful for every second we get to spend with them.
We love living the farm life at my sister and bro and laws farm when were back and had the best time cuddling baby pigs and goats this time. My sister and I have bonded in a new way and I respect and admire my little sis and all she’s accomplished with her awesome husband. Her and I were inseparable for so many years of our life and it’s so great to be such close friends even though we live so far away from each other.
I encourage you today, to appreciate the people around you that are quality. The ones who are loyal and real and will have your back no matter what.
Do you live close to your family? Is there someone your longing to hang out with today? Love to hear from you!
