Happy Weekend! ✨Caleb and I are SO happy it’s a three day weekend for us. When this picture was taken (a couple weeks ago), it was in the midst of 18 days Caleb and I got non-stop time together. We were probably apart for no more than 1 hour combined that entire time. 😂

You would think we might get sick of each other, but we didn’t at all. But now, the last two weeks with his busy work schedule, we got very little time together. Quality time is both our number 1️⃣ love language.

We were realizing that the more tired we got, the less distracted we would become. So even the time we were getting together didn’t feel like quality time. So we made some shifts over the last few months/weeks that have been helping.

We set up some boundaries, that breathe more life into our relationship. We’ve been having our phone in a different room or put away after 7 or 8 at night. No looking at our phone in the bedroom. No TV in our bedroom. We’ve been trying to play several games together each night, instead of just watching a show. Throughout our whole marriage we’ve read a marriage devotional book every night before bed.

It’s crazy how boundaries can actually set you more free, and help the important things thrive more. Do you agree❓Love hearing from you!❤️
