Each year for my job (this is Caleb again) we travel down to San Diego for a conference that I have to attend. This has become a tradition for us as we approach the end of each summer together. Something that we look forward to so much. š·: Cait Emmrich We love exploring all of the many things that San Diego has to offer. From where we stay in Mission Bay, to Balboa Park, La Jolla (our favorite), Coronado, Sea World, and Sunset Cliffs. Each provides a little piece of beauty that adds on to the allure of this beautiful destination. This week has been so Romantic, long strolls on the beach, staring into each others eyes, playing in the water, and huge ice cream cones at night. Sharing these moments together have truly started our sixth year of marriage off AMAZINGLY! It also comes with a bitter sweet ending as it marks the beginning of the school year for me and the end of the summer for us, and while we still have a few more days together, we are sad to not be able to spend every moment together, like we do in the summer. But we are not forgetting in the midst of all of that, to cherish every moment, look a little deeper into each otherās eyes, and to allow ourselves to fall deeper in loveĀ Ā every day, every hour, every minute, and every second we get together. I am challenging myself to be in the moment and appreciate Stefanie when I have her, rather than focus on all the time we donāt have during the school year. So far, in putting this into practice, I wake up with an even bigger smile on my face, more joy in my heart, and a deeper appreciation for the princess of a wife that I have. ___ How are you going to appreciate the little moments each day? Love hearing from you!Ā
