Happy Friday, Friends! I love putting my feet in other people’s shoes so to speak. Especially those I’m close to. I love understanding what a person thinks and feels in order to have more empathy & compassion on them. _____ I believe this is such an important aspect for a healthy relationship. We can justify our own motives, since we know everything in our heart, but can easily judge someone else’s. _____ Yesterday I got to take a field trip with Caleb’s students to Biola college. I loved visiting his classroom and observing everything. I grew in appreciation for my husband and the ministry he pours his time and energy into everyday. I know firsthand how difficult it can be, being a teacher (since I was a classroom teacher for three years). I have so much respect for kind teachers, and so much love for students battling all the challenges that early years of life can bring. _____ My husband is my hero everyday, and so grateful for the chance to take a little walk in his shoes. He has big shoes to fill, and I admire all the sacrifices he makes daily for his students, family and our company. _____ Do you like “getting in other people’s shoes.” What’s a way you could better understand a loved ones perspective this week? Love hearing from you! 📷: @courtneypaigephoto
